The Ecliptic

THE ECLIPTIC is the dotted line above, which represents the Sun’s path through the 12 ‘Owthowth from right to left in retrograde motion over the course of a year.

1 [To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.] The heavens declare The Glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handywork. 2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 3 [There is] no speech nor language, [where] their voice is not heard. 4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath He set a tabernacle for the sun, 5 Which [is] as a Bridegroom coming out of His chamber, [and] rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. 6 His going forth [is] from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. 7 The Law of The LORD [IS] perfect, converting the soul: The Testimony of The LORD [IS] sure, making wise the simple. 8 The Statutes of The LORD [ARE] right, rejoicing the heart: The Commandment of The LORD [IS] pure, enlightening the eyes. 9 The Fear of The LORD [IS] clean, enduring for ever: The Judgments of The LORD [are] true [and] righteous altogether. 10 More to be desired [are they] than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. 11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: [and] in keeping of them [there is] great reward. 12 Who can understand [his] errors? cleanse Thou me from secret [faults]. 13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous [sins]; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. 14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, O LORD, my Strength, and my Redeemer.

Psalm 19:1-14 KJV

Did you know Jesus created the sun so we can tell the “signs” (‘Owthowth), the “seasons” in which His Feasts occur, the “evenings” in which the days begin, and the “years” leading up to His Seventh Year Sabbatical called “The Sh’mittawh”?

[Genesis 1:14 KJV] 14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

The Analemma is the infinity shaped pattern the sun makes when you mark its position at the same time at the same interval throughout the course of the year. For example, you might mark the end of the shadow at 7:00 AM each morning for an entire year.
You will find that the infinity pattern is tilted 23 degrees, which matches the tilt of the earth on its axis towards the sun in the summer and away from the sun in the winter. As such, the highest point on the Analemma is the season of Summer when the sun is highest in the sky, the lowest point is Winter when the days are shorter. Where the infinity sign intersects is both Spring and Fall, the appointed times of The Seven Feasts of The Lord, in their seasons.

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, [Concerning] The Feasts of The LORD, which ye shall proclaim [to be] Holy Convocations, [even] these [are] My Feasts. 3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day [is] The Sabbath of rest, an Holy Convocation; ye shall do no work [therein]: it [is] The Sabbath of The LORD in all your dwellings. 4 These [are] The Feasts of The LORD, [even] Holy Convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.
